Our Service Plans
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That's why we offer the most comprehensive service plans in the industry - to protect you from big, unexpected repair bills.
Records show that four out of five heating system breakdowns could have been prevented with regular system maintenance. For just a few dollars more than the cost of a
tune-up, you can get a service plan that includes annual maintenance.
We offer two plans - the
Super Value Plan or the
Total Comfort Plan. Our Super Value Plan covers parts and labor costs for most of the things that typically go wrong with a heating system should you ever need a repair. Our Total Comfort Plan takes your protection to the highest level, covering everything the Super Value Plan does, PLUS coverage of dozens of other repairs, which are less frequent but can be quite expensive.
No matter which plan you choose, you also receive these guarantees:
- If you have no heat, we will come to your home no more than four hours after you call us. (In most cases we will be there sooner.)
- Automatic delivery customers in good standing will never run out of oil.
- We will always use professional testing equipment, not guesswork, when we do your tune-ups to ensure that your system is restored to maximum efficiency.
- We will always leave your home as clean as we found it. You will never have to clean up after us!
- We pledge to be friendly and courteous at all times.
- We will never charge you overtime for any labor covered under our service plans.
If we don't live up to any of these guarantees, we'll give you $25 worth of heating oil--FREE.
Super Value Plan
- FREE HartWarmers Tune-Up.
- FREE parts and labor for the repair or replacement of listed parts.
This plan covers many things that typically can go wrong with your system and includes an annual tune-up. Also, Hart Petroleum will repair or replace, during the life of this service plan, with no charge for parts and labor, any of the following items that may become defective due to normal use or wear and tear.

HartWarmers Tune-Up
Your heating system will be tuned up annually to ensure that it operates at maximum efficiency.
Save up to 10% on your energy bills! Tune-Up Includes:
- Installing oil filter cartridge and burner nozzle.
- Adjust and check electrodes and nozzle assembly.
- Oiling all motors on burners, fans and circulators.
- Safety-checking all operating controls.
- Inspecting combustion chamber.
- Vacuuming interior of boiler or furnace, flue pipe and chimney base (as necassary).
- Adjusting system to maximum efficiency and performing combustion efficiency test to check results.
- Customer will receive a written report detailing the condition and efficiency of their heating system at the conclusion of the HartWarmers Tune-up.

Loyalty Credits
For each consecutive year that you renew your service plan, you earn Loyalty Credits ($50 for the Super Value Plan and $100 for the Total Comfort Plan). You can use these nontransferable credits, up to a total of $500, toward the purchase of heating equipment from us. Eligible equipment and the credit amounts that you can redeem for each are shown here.
