The New Hyde Park Oil Terminal was purchased in 1998. It is located at 1900 Plaza Avenue in New Hyde Park, New York. The terminal is a Major Inland Storage Facility for home heating oil (#2), Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel and Bio fuels. The terminal is used for thru putting, storage and blending of products for heating and driving purposes. The terminal is used by major wholesalers on Long Island; they include Global Companies LLC, Sprague Energy, Bayside Fuel and Hess Corporation. The largest companies on Long Island use the terminal for thru putting and they include; Slomins', Petro, General Utilities, Ranshaw, OSI-Weyant and our own Hart Petroleum. The Wholesalers use the terminal to market to retailers in the area. The large retailers transport product into the New Hyde Park Oil Terminal via our transportation company Hart Trucking Corp. to have inventory available for their delivery trucks to serve their customers in the area.

There are six rack positions where trucks can load. Four have the ability to load just heating oil, one is for a blended bio heat product; and one has three options to load a blended biodiesel product, Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel or pure Bio Fuel. Over the past eleven years we have made many infrastructure improvements, always with a vision towards safety, environmentally sound practices with potential growth. They include; repaving the rack area, raising the racks by three feet, installing high level alarms, installing an injection blending system for bio-fuels, updating the electrical system and fencing in most areas and most recently installing a new rail siding to accept rail car deliveries of Bio fuel. New Hyde Park is the only terminal on Long Island receiving Bio fuel by rail car. Using Rail delivery further reduces our carbon footprint by reducing truck traffic and emissions on Long Island.
